Our Mission:  To impact the lives of young people in the Greater El Paso area by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

The First Tee of Greater El Paso Upcoming events


September 7th – October 15th

Home School Class: Tuesdays 1:00-2:30 PM September 10th-October 15th. For those that are Home Schooled. Fee $60.

Wee One’s Class: Saturdays 9:00 – 10:00 AM. September 7th-October 12th. For children ages 3 1/2 to 5.  Limited to the first 25 to register. This class fills up very fast so don’t hesitate to register. Fee $60.

PLAY-er Class: Saturdays 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM & 4:30-6:00 PM on Thursdays. September 7th-October 12th.  For those who have participated in at least 1 session of The First Tee. Fee $75

PURCELL Special Kids Class: Saturdays 10:30-11:30 AM. September 7th-October 12th. For those with Special Needs. Fee $30

Beginner PLAY-er Class: Saturdays 12:30-2:00 PM & 4:30-6:00 on Thursdays. September 7th-October 12th. For children ages 5 to 18.  For those who are NEW to The First Tee Program. Fee $75

PAR Level Class: Saturdays 2:30-4:30 PM. September 7th-October 12th.   For those who are currently in the PAR level of programming. Fee $75

BIRDIE Level Class: Saturdays 2:30-4:30 PM. September 7th-October 12th. For those who are currently in the BIRDIE Level of programming. Fee $75

EAGLE Level Class: Saturdays 2:30-4:30 PM. September 7th-October 12th. For those who are currently in the EAGLE Level of programming. Fee $75

Nine Core Values

Why is golf different from other sports?

Players learn values like honesty and responsibility by calling penalties on themselves and reporting their own score. By participating in The First Tee, youth are introduced to Nine Core Values which are incorporated throughout the program.

Getting started

Who can play?

The First Tee offers group lessons to youth up to age 18 regardless of background or previous experience. Our coaches are trained to make kids feel comfortable and assure they have a positive, non-intimidating experience. All we ask is young people come with an open mind and positive attitude.
