Scholarships

We want to make our program available to all youth in the greater El Paso area, so we offer a number of full and partial scholarships. In return for financial assistance, we ask that families contribute volunteer hours. Volunteer hours can include assisting with classes, helping at an event or helping at our clubhouse.

To determine the volunteer requirement:

    Annual Registration Fee ($50) = 8 Volunteer hours
    Regular Session Fee      ($35) = 4 Volunteer hours x #____ sessions
    Summer Session Fee     ($50) = 8 Volunteer hours   

• For example, a scholarship for the annual registration fee, a regular session and a summer session would total $135 and add up to 20 volunteer hours to be completed throughout the year.
• A scholarship for 3 regular sessions would total $105 (3 x $35) and would require 12 volunteer hours.
  

The Programs Committee of our Board of Directors reviews the applications on an ongoing, as-needed basis and will follow up with you as soon as possible.

To apply for a scholarship, download the Scholarship Form, fill it out as completely as possible and return it to us via email, USPS (PO Box 222061, El Paso TX 79913) or drop it off at our Ascarate clubhouse during class hours.
